Staying online in Japan
Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Sapporo all search for Japan. A package covers Japan only when the supplier lists JP.
City names are search terms
Narita and Haneda find Japan. They are not separate eSIM products, and they do not describe coverage inside one terminal.
Open the Japan plan list and read the country code on the package. If JP is missing, that package does not cover the trip.
Before you install
Install on Wi-Fi. The Japan page does not name an operator unless the live supplier packages include one. A speed label on a package is not a promise at a street address.
